PUBG Mobile Lite tops Google Play Store, crosses 10 million downloads

In India, the lighter version of Player Unknown Battleground (PUBG) has reached the top of the list of free games within three days of the launch of PUBG Lite. So far, it has been downloaded more than 10 million times from the Play Store.

The popularity of Mobile Lite can be estimated from the fact that a lot of Indian smartphone market's 'entry-level smartphones' are included. Due to the new lite version, people of this segment will also be able to play this game, which they could not play before.

In this lite version, only 60 people will be able to play in one map, like 100 in the last 10 minutes of the game, just like the playback style of the game. The game's app takes up 400 MB of space and can be played from devices with less than 2 GB of RAM. The aim of the Pubg Lite version is to give all the players a better experience.

The main version of the controversial game app has been downloaded more than 100 million times from the Google Play store since its launch in 2017. Pubg Mobile Season 8 has been released last week.
